The ambiance is warm and inviting, with its dark, cozy setting reminiscent of old-school steakhouses, making it perfect for a relaxing meal.

Known for its outstanding food, Wood Ranch Brentwood delivers a diverse menu that caters to both meat lovers and those seeking something lighter. One of the highlights of dining at Wood Ranch is their garlic dinner rolls, which are an absolute hit with regulars. You just can't beat it! We wouldn't say we are regulars here but we go very often. You walk in and it's dark and gives you that old school steak house vibe. Usually we have a reservation but even when we don't, it's fast to get a table. My wife gets the brisket and I get the grilled chicken breast with the Mac and cheese! My wife leaves with food for days and the chicken breast is sooo moist. Value for money, it can't be beat! The Mac and cheese is great as well! By the way, did I forget the dinner rolls? Pro tip special, get it with some barbecue sauce to dip it in. You won't regret it. Now, some of the minor tidbits we notice that could be corrected. First, the valet price seems to constantly go up. But don't fret, plenty of street parking! Second, we have noticed for the last three times that we have gone that the side portions have been shrinking. Normally, I would get both of my sides to be mac & cheese. The last time we went, my two portions seemed like less than one of my normal portions I used to get. Last, wood ranch was known for making one of the best strawberry blended margaritas. And all of their locations, we were told, got rid of their blenders and don't make blended drinks. Bring them back! Last, bigger TVs! I understand you're not trying to make it a sports bar, but the TVs are tiny! Black Friday!!! Go to best buy and treat yourselves! Again, these are minor complaints and I wouldn't even call them complaints. More like things that are easily correctable. Wont stop us from going. We love it there and to unwind on a Sunday night, it hits the spot. also, don't hesitate to get a seat at the bar. It's a full menu and we have noticed often that we get served faster there..

The decor still channels its Bandera roots, but that's totally fine--the vibe is great and didn't need changing. They start you off with hot, garlicky rolls that hit the spot. For mains, we ordered the Asian chicken salad, Caesar salad, and roasted half chicken. The kids had ribs and grilled chicken--everything arrived quickly, exactly as ordered, and there were no complaints. Dessert was a chocolate cake: decent but not a standout, and so warm the ice cream melted instantly. Great price point and value; it punches above its weight. Plus, the booths are super comfortable.

Great food if you like bbq and a good kids menu. Really loved the Mac and cheese and the cocktails. Plenty of seating and we were able to make a reservation the day of. Friendly service as well. Parking can be tough - street parking on Wilshire and surrounding neighborhood but also looked like they had valet out back. Good for families, as we had three kids with us. Will be back for sure!

Tried this place while visiting LA. We had a reservation, but there was still a wait, this place was popular. They start you off with garlic rolls, which were super yummy and garlicky. Gotta eat them hot and fresh. I ordered the Baby Back Ribs (8 pieces) and they were delicious. Fall off the bone and really tender and juicy! I loved them. The Mac N Cheese sadly wasn't good, the noodles were a bit hard and the cheese just wasn't good. Took a star off because of that, and some of my other party that dined with me didn't all enjoy their order.

Amazing BBQ flavor and clean interior. It's dim inside so it gives a more intimate feeling when you are eating. The booths are all comfy and soft. It smells delicious inside. On the way to the bathrooms, you get an amazing ciew of the smoky fresh grill rolling out their dishes. My girlfriend and I shared the full rack of baby back ribs and found them delicious, chewy, and perfectly meaty enough (sometimes ribs are so little in meat, you just peel off a layer and they're gone!). The amazing addition too is the garlic bread rolls given to you throughout the course of the meal. This is a wonderful restaurant with delicious courses offered. Parking is tough as expected in Los Angeles but we were able to get a good spot beside it with metered parking. There's a lot behind that is for valet service.
